PERSPIRATION IS VERY IMPORTANT AND NECESSARY

Are you normally disturbed by perspiration? Some of us perspire more profusely than others. Depending on the environment and on the occasion, modern life frowns on perspiration. This modern dislike for perspiration is part of what has created a huge cosmetic industry that offers us a variety of chemical preparations to combat it. The objectives include making us smell better and drying us up or making us perspire less, especially under the arms.
When we are engaged in sports, gardening, physical exercises and similar physical activities, we expect to perspire and nobody frowns on this. In fact, this should be welcomed as one of the most natural and excellent channels of getting waste products out of us. Indeed, nature has made our skins the best channels for getting rid of  certain specific types of waste materials than through other channels of our bodies, such as the urine and faeces. It must be a related reason that the programmes at health spas include perspiration as a routine daily feature.
Over the thousands of years that humans have been on earth, sweating has been part of our activities. Then, almost suddenly, our sedentary modern lifestyles shelter many of us:
a) under the cooling and sweat-preventing effects of air-conditioners
b) through the use  of various chemicals in the form of deodorants and especially anti-antiperspirants.
Despite these comforts, it is useful to find ways to perspire, because this is good for your health.
As noted above, the skin is the largest organ of our bodies. It is  part of a waste removal team that includes our livers, kidneys, bowels and the mucous tissues of our respiratory, breathing and digestive organs. Each needs some exercise, such as perspiring does  for the pores and elimination does for the lower bowels. Also, each needs some has its unique contribution towards keeping our bodies clean. That is why there are certain waste materials  that each of them can respectively flush out of our bodies more  efficiently than can be done through any of the other channels. Therefore, if we allow our skins to perspire freely, regularly and often, this exercises the pores, reduces the strain on the other waste-removing organs and improves the total effectiveness of the entire team.
Just as you have a daily habit of eating and attending to your toilet needs, you should also cultivate a similar daily habit of sweating. A healthy programme of daily physical exercises would be a good period for your skin to perspire freely.
Some methods that make us sweat cost very little, such as wearing synthetic and thick clothes for long walks or while working around the house and in caring for the garden, etc. Others that involve exercising in gyms and using sauna baths (dry heat) or steam baths (moist heat) at health clubs or in some homes are more expensive. Use whatever methods are convenient for you to regularly exercise the skin, by making it sweat profusely and improving its beauty.
